- Model 4SCR
- is a 4-digit display with 38mm high red LED 7-segment digits. These units are factory configured for Serial or Counts or Rate / Speed inputs. The housing is a polycarbonate surface-mount type with an IP65 environmental rating. Excitation is standard for 2-wire or 3-wire inputs and proximity switches. Pulses or frequency may be from NPN, PNP, generated voltage, or potential free contact inputs.
- With the addition of our Radio Modem Transceiver Model 4SCR may be used as a remote display with Serial input from a computer, embedded controller or from any of the wide range of Instrotech Indicators. Applications include remote crane weight display, flow rates from flowmeters or belt weighers and remote totalising. Instrotech Model 4SCR is available in 3 variants:

Model 6SCR
is an indicator for displaying ASCII format serial data from computers and controllers, ideal especially where multiple slave display units are required. The field-mount housing is a wall-mount type rated at IP65. Decimal point, address, baud rate, and the number of data bits are all user configurable. The display has 6 red LED digits each 20mm high.
The readout may be set to flash on and off with the last data displayed whenever the indicator does not receive valid refresh data within a specified time period. A flashing display shows that the unit has line-fail or is not initiated by the computer or controller. The Time-out period may be any number of seconds between 1 and 15, or alternatively this feature may be completely disabled, as required.
The Address, Baud Rate, number of Data Bits, and the Time-out Period of each indicator may be programmed from the host computer or controller, set up prior to delivery, or both. 255 addresses are available (‘01h’ to ‘FFh’), while Address ‘00’ is reserved to address all the indicators on a bus, for display blanking or common data display purposes.
Model 6SCR is available with two different types of firmware:ASCII data format - $hhDDDDDDCR - orASCIIbus protocol - #aaSDDDDDDDDpCRLF - which matches the Instrotech indicator protocol.

Model 4011 and 5011
are LED indicators used for the remote display of serial data of numeric and alpha-numeric format. These indicators are ideal for applications where multiple slave display units are required. The indicators utilise the ASCIIbus protocol for easy implementation into most systems. The indicators come with a choice of either RS232 input or RS485 input for bus systems. The displays may be set to flash on and off whenever the indicator does not receive valid refresh data within a specified time period.
Options include programmable analogue retransmission output, one, two, three or four alarms, BCD output and other options. The retransmission option is rangeable from the front pushbuttons. All Instrotech manufactured products are EMC/EMI compliant and have our factory-backed material and workmanship warranty.

Parallel Indicator
Model 5002 is a 6 digit (-199999 to 999999) red LED programmable indicator for parallel digital inputs, such as BCD, Gray Code and Binary. As a universal indicator, the instrument is fully programmable from the front pushbuttons for decimal point selection, scaling, positive or negative logic, parallel or multiplexed BCD input, Gray Code input and Binary input. The panel mount housing is a standard DIN 48 x 96 size.
Applications include displays for PLC outputs for process control, and displays for absolute shaft encoders. Options include programmable analog output, one, two, three or four alarms, RS232 output, and many more. The analog output is rangeable from the front pushbuttons. This instrument meets EMC and EMI and Low Voltage directives.
