strain transducers are for use on any load-bearing structure. These extensometers are used mainly on the supports of tanks, bins, silos and hoppers, transmitting signals proportional to the volume or level of bulk materials in vessels. Since the vessel supports do not need to be cut, raised or suspended, these transducers are easy to install on both new and existing structures. Made to strict quality control standards under load cell conditions for stability and repeatability, Model 178 extensometers are sealed to IP66. Other applications include strain and weight measurement, as well as stress and fatigue monitoring, overload protection and vibration detection. Features:
